I wanted to try out the new photo gallery so I figured I would post a few pictures of my new appartment at school. I havn't been on here in a while but it doesn't look like i missed too much. I guess everyone has had a busy couple of weeks. I know i just finished with finals last week, but thats all over and now i have new classes to worry about. Anyway, just thought id post a little news here from Ruston to see if I could spark a little web activity.

Your place looks pretty nice. Most of the apartments I wandered into when I was at LSU looked like South American shanty houses, especially compared to that. You even have a cool pet, blurry though he may be...or maybe you just need to clean his water. :)
I'm also pleased to see how spartan you are with the decor. I've been in my place nearly a year and a half now and still have hung nothing on the walls. Big open spaces are cool.

Hey there. Yeah, the forum's pretty slow, I don't expect it will get used too often as most family announcements could get easily spread by telephone. Most of the development the past couple of weeks has been behind the scenes, and creating a few fancy logos. I think I'm mostly done now, I'll probably send out an email shortly letting everyone know about the site.
Anyway, how's the new place working out? How long have those fish held out? :)

Keep posting photos. It will only really work if everyone starts using it. I'm working on an instructional page but it looks like you've got it figured out. Did you use the Jupload page to upload your photos?

Hello Again, I'm really enjoying the new place up here. The main advantage being that, since they're brand new, we are the first to live in them. That also has some slight disadvantages, of course, of the fact that they were thrown together as to accomidate for their demand. Thus there were and are a few kinks in the overall scheme of things. :?

You would not believe what that fish has been through. One of our roomates had it in his dorm before we all moved in. He lives in Virginia and so on breaks he would just leave him there without food and hope it would still be alive when he returned. So he has been through a couple of week to two week breaks with no food. Plus we broke his tank while cleaning it and he lived in a pot for about three or four days untill we repaired the tank. I really am surprised he has held out through all we have put him through.

An instructional page wouldnt be all that bad of an idea. I was able to use the jupload without too much trouble when I was adding my photos but I did have a bit of an issue with creating the subfolder. Jupload works really well but i found that it works best to have your picture file open with windows explorer so you can preview with it and ctrl select them with the jupload window. Jupload just wouldnt let me preview a new picture if I already had some selected. Well I'm not really sure if what i just described will make sense to anyone else but that was the only problem I encountered in using the site and it was easily maneuvered.

Well thats all i can think of for now. Forces in equilibrium await me :!: Don't you guys miss homework :?:

Anyway I'm off for now
